Indie-pop innovators Cosmorat reflects on anxieties, boredom, and despair on debut EP Evil Adjacent, weaving through various tales of girlhood, abusive relationships, social anxieties, and loving those that can’t love you back.

Built on textured sonics and captivating vocals, the EP encapsulates the joys and miseries of life within the raw offerings that brim with equal amounts of refinement and experimental grit. Grounded in real experiences yet evoking our imaginations, the collection is intimate and cinematic all at once.

The tender and contemplative core of the EP is best captured in shimmering focus track “something in the rain,” which offers a warm exploration of social anxiety and burn out woven with euphoric explosions sprinkled throughout.

Showcasing their ability to unfurl complex themes with a touch of heartfelt simplicity, Cosmorat continue to win our hearts with brand of vibrant indie-pop.
