New York-based artist HELANG unleashes her latest release “Wise Devil” via her self-made imprint, Dauntless Records. The indie-dance inspired delivery of dynamic and emotive techno is the first track to make its way to listeners ahead of her 3-track ‘Lovers of the Unknown’ EP, set for release on May 16th.
The percussive profile persisting through the duration of the “Wise Devil” is complemented by smooth vocals that weave a hypnotic, grooving soundscape across all of the track’s elements. As the Chinese-American DJ and producer embarks on what is set to be a milestone year, her forthcoming EP ‘Lovers Of The Unknown’ will feature three tracks that showcase the breadth of HELANG’s burgeoning signature sound. Preceding the EP’s May release, fans can expect a second installment in April as Helang gears up to unveil the project in-full.
Sharing on her latest release, Helang shares,"Wise Devil is an indie dance – inspired techno song that I finished in 2 studio sessions. It is synth heavy, emotional, yet energetic which encompasses all the qualities that inspire me as an artist. I wrote this song about finding beauty in difficult challenges and establishing my ground in her world."
