Ainjo looks for solace away from her “Pity Party”

Southern California-based singer-songwriter Ainjo has been juggling music and being an active member of the military (Navy to be precise) and now with a lot of changes happening in her life, she is preparing to release her new project Diary Entries and leaving the Navy after a decade. Her new single "Pity Party" is a true reflection of her life and is inspired by her current situation where the Navy is relieving her of her duties due to health concerns and she is torn emotionally with the situation. The song sees Ainjo trying to come to terms with this big change and trying to find an outlet to plug into. Over the soulful guitar licks, and soothing keys, she takes us deep into her world with lines like "I've been drinkin more than usual/I’ve been tripping more than I did before/Searchin for a change that’s right in front of me/It’s at arms length but still I cannot reach/I've been drinkin more than usual" and she proceeds to face the uncertainties of life with all she can muster.
