Los Angeles alt rock band Ships Have Sailed and indie folk artist Abby Posner team up to release a fun and roots forward song "Get Loud Acoustic". The track is seeped with Americana, folk and rock making for a unique but enjoyable sonic departure from the band Ships Have Sailed usual releases.

"Get Loud Acoustic" is all about fighting for what you believe in both metaphorically as well as figuratively. Sometimes life brings us down and we must muster up the strength to hit hard and stand up for what we want and need. Lyrics including, "All the battles we have lost, yea / will bring the grit to win it all / It's about to get loud," show the perseverance, tenacity and strength needed to win against darkness. Musically, "Get Loud Acoustic" is an upbeat, foot-stomping ride or die good time. The song begins with Abby's country-infused vocals over layered fiddles and thumping rhythms. Will Carpenter of Ships Have Sailed soon makes an appearance with his whisky-drenched vocals, singing the same infectious melodies. The track is the perfect party anthem or a song that should be played to anyone needing to get up the courage to get through life's trials and tribulations.

Ships Have Sailed is headed by vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Will Carpenter. Together with drummer Art Andranikyan, the duo create invigorating indie rock. Abby Posner is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter who is known for her genre-defying releases. The two acts have released a must listen to musical masterpiece. Take a listen to "Get Loud Acoustic" now and share this gem to your family and friends.
