West London producer/ DJ Kaidi Tatham continues his slew of remixes with the label Reel People with the latest one being "I Want To Thank You" featuring singer Mica Paris. The song is a remake of the classic 1981 single by American singer Alicia Myers, and Kadi reimagines it with modern sounds that still pay homage to the past. He raises the ante with rich bass synths, pulsating pads and a layered horn arrangement that complements Mica's rivetting vocal performance.
Kaidi Tatham is the multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ who helped to define West London’s iconic broken beat sound during the late Nineties but who has continued to operate beyond genres and pigeonholes – be that via albums including In Search Of Hope, Bandana and Don’t Rush The Process, his dance music-focused pseudonym Agent K and a raft of collaborations including those with Bugz In The Attic, 4Hero, Amp Fiddler, Amy Winehouse and Slum Village.
"I Want To Thank You (Remix by Kaidi Tatham)" is taken from his forthcoming Fusion Moves LP, Pre-save here.
