NYC DJ and producer Mark Wolf makes a stellar debut teaming up with R&B artist Khalil on danceable number “It Was OK,” swirling with a blend of house music and R&B. A layered anthem that was born out of a simple piano melody, the track blossomed and gained an upbeat edge fuelled by a touch of sultriness.
Built on shimmering melodies and a subtle yet distinct bassline, the groovy yet laid-back production gives space for Khalil’s emotive and soulful vocal lines to lead us into an ethereal sonic world.
Speaking of the track, Wolf said, “As a debut release, I want this song to set a precedent for my sound- fun, danceable, and full of musicality,” with Khalil adding, "Mark did an amazing job creating a whole new experience sonically with 'It Was OK' it was a pleasure working with him & looking forward to many more in the future."
Having made an impression back in 2021 with NFT single "Sticky," with Tank God, the producer of "Rockstar," by Post Malone, Mark Wolf continues to carve out a place for himself in music with his dynamic artistry.
