THE FRST ignites the sonic explosive with his new single, "Torpedo"

THE FRST band, led by the wildly gifted Mikei Gray, breaks out of the norm with their latest musical shakeup "Torpedo." The song, done with singer AJ Perdomo and Josh Withenshaw from 'The Dangerous Summer' veers excitingly off from the usual music styles into a rock-tronic alternative and using EDM drops that feel like explosions going off in your ears, the track blasts forward with catchy energy that's impossible not to get into.

With this gritty, party-ready banger, THE FRST smoothly walks the thin line between polished indie pop and punchy industrial vibes carving out their own unique place in music right now. "Torpedo," a journey through the mess of a ruined relationship, holds up a mirror to the aftermath when love unravels. The song shows off how The FRST skillfully hops genres, confidently shifting between alt anthems reminiscent of Death Cab for Cutie while taking on the electronic feel of DeadMau5 too.

THE FRST is a musical project dreamed up by Mikei Gray. The band leaves out the letter 'I' in its name to signal how it's always changing. The band's lineup reads like a who's who of alt rock with stars like Kellin Quinn and Matty Best from 'Sleeping With Sirens,' Nathan Cogan of 'Taking Back Sunday,' and Jesse Hughes from 'Eagles of Death Metal.' Gray has brought together mad talented musicians to make his alt rock visions real.

According to Alternative Press, "Torpedo" catches that classic 90's grunge vibe with its angsty vocals and heavy guitar riffs. It shows THE FRST's commitment to pushing boundaries and making music that's both fun and in-your-face. The track feels familiar but also pretty groundbreaking. It will take you on a wild ride through everything that made alt-rock great.

This song erupts with sound and promises an unforgettable experience. With production help from James Wisner, THE FRST takes your senses into new territory about to blow up with "Torpedo." Get ready for a hard-hitting, impactful ride.
