Indie-psych band Melting Reeds emerge from Switzerland as a beacon of authenticity amidst a sea of manufactured sounds with their new psychedelic journey, Sundown. This five-track project invites listeners into a dreamlike realm where smooth, velvety vocals intertwine effortlessly with glittering guitar melodies, creating an ethereal sonic landscape.

Each track on Sundown exudes a heartfelt sincerity that has already garnered praise across social media platforms, resonating deeply with audiences seeking genuine musical experiences. Melting Reeds' commitment to crafting both a digital and offline space of serenity is palpable, as they seamlessly translate their sincerity into both their music and their online presence.

The genesis of Sundown during the confines of 2020 underscores the project's raw and intimate nature. Stemming from a desire to create music akin to the comfort of home cooking, Melting Reeds infuses every note with a personal touch, inviting listeners into their creative journey.

The band explain that – “In the spring of 2020, I said to myself: ‘you've got to do something, you've got to create, you've got to get out what's in your guts or you'll regret it for the rest of your life’. I wanted to make music the way you cook at home. I think it's a good mindset to create as close to yourself as possible. “

“From then on, the project appealed and several people close to me joined the adventure. We were able to play several concerts between 2021 and 2022, and recorded this EP in Leysin, a small village in the Swiss mountains at Benoit Erard's (L'Eclair). Melting Reeds is homemade, lovingly crafted by friends and family.”
