Backed by DEAD PERRY's haunting and menacing soundscape, Izrell embodies the spirit of a man on a mission with a singular laser-guided focus on the prize. The song also comes with a visual that adds to the fun with it's dark and grimy aesthetics.

Jezus Martinez – "Back to the Basics" prod. by Mike Martinez

We head to Flagler Beach, Florida with the aid of rap duo Jezus Martinez, made up of Jezus and Mike Martinez who deliver the visual of their new collaborative project titled"Back to the Basics". The track produced by Mike has a smooth soulful sample with crunchy boombap drums underpinned by expressive bravado-driven lyrics from both rappers. The lead single also has a visual directed by Derrick "Ransom" Mason who captures the duo in different spots showcasing their art.

Their 9th and latest project, Back to the Basics features 10 tracks entirely produced by Mike Martinez and covering a variety of vibes & topics.

Bathe Alone – "Blame Me"

Atlanta-based dream pop singer/songwriter  Bathe Alone makes her entry on our list with their latest release titled "Blame Me". The retro-pop single is an exploration of freedom after heartbreak and going through a tumultuous marriage. Backed by lush dreamy guitars and pads, Bathe Alone delivers an empowering piece with her whispered vocal runs and unapologetic lyrics about forging ahead and cutting off a partner who is not forthcoming. The visuals employ a subtle and descriptive motif to project her emotions and journey to freedom and put viewers right in the mix. The single is lifted from the forthcoming LP I Don’t Do Humidity and will be out on June 7th.

Foggieraw – "Destiny"

Foggieraw continues his slew of releases as he drops this stylish and eye-popping visual for his song "Destiny". Armed with his laidback and unassuming flow and expressive demeanour, Foggieraw confidently states his progression and casts a positive eye on his life. The visuals are quite engaging with their smooth transitions, effects and bright aesthetics.

Ananya – "macy gray"

Zimbabwe-born, London-based singer/songwriter Ananya shares with us her new single "macy gray". The piano-driven solemn ballad sees her looking back on a past relationship and the journey toward closure and self-forgiveness. Armed with her rich vocals and emotionally powerful songwriting, Ananya paints a soul-stirring picture that captures the essence of growth stemming from past trauma.

Manny Grey – "OK"

Brockton, Massachusetts-based rapper and producer Manny Grey whose African roots help inform his expressive and profound songwriting and overaching musical style. His new single "OK" is an incisive and critical evaluation of the current state of affairs of the culture. He acknowledges the numerous fractures and divisions but he is hopeful that things will eventually turn out fine as long as we stay focused on the most important things. The visuals are a blend of dark and abstract motifs with spiritual and religious undertones laced with performance shots and subtle visual effects to match.

Jessa – "Sleep With Boys"

Uprising singer Jessa caught our ears and eyes with her new effort titled "Sleep With Boys". The track has a lush guitar riff and warm textures with soft drums underpinned by her sultry melodic runs and heartfelt lyrics that dwell on external validation and the many detrimental effects it can have on one's confidence. The track's visual style is quite distinct as it uses a mix of dreamy, abstract and eye-popping set pieces that bring the theme to life.

Last Alexander – "GOTHAM"

Chicago-based rapper and producer THE LAST ALEXANDER takes us into "GOTHAM". The laidback self-produced track has a sombre and haunting string and sparse drums underpinned by the rapper's unassuming and lazy flow but vivid lyricism that details his thought process and style. The video is quite engaging and uses different performance shots alongside cinematic elements that add a futuristic feel to the song.

Jewelia – "Invisible Wall"

Rising alternative pop act Jewelia takes us through the "Invisible Wall" as she prepares to release her sophomore album Little Wins via Pretty Decent Music. The retro synth-pop tune is ripe with rich layered melodies and a deadpan performance that focus on the concept of breaking the mould and going against the norm. The visual style is a mix of 80s pop art, grainy aesthetics and subtle use of retro expression that pushes the boundary beyond the comfort zone.

Geographer – "The Light in the Dark"

Synth-pop visionary Geographer delivers this nostalgia-inducing track "The Light in the Dark" with a retro-fitted visual. The mid-tempo track has a bright and warm backdrop and is underpinned by his distinct vocal runs that rise to a plateau in the chorus section. The accompanying visual taps into the late 80s singular shot visuals. Here we see the artist performing different acts in a dimly lit warehouse. He uses different motifs to allude to changing emotions as the song progresses.
