Singer, rapper and songwriter extraordinaire Dave Luv has just shared his latest intoxicating effort. Called "Some Days", the song follows his single "Gunfire" released last year in collaboration with hip hop artist Reo Cragun.

"Some Days" captures the myriad of intense emotions and volatility that often occurs during a breakup. From anger, grief, sadness, fondness, relief and more, "Some Days" brilliantly highlights all these feelings and the highs and lows found in life. Lyrics including, "Some days I miss you / Got you thoughts in my mind / Some days I hate you / And I can’t deny / Some days it gets hard / Now all I feel is numbness," show just how hard love lost can feel. Sonically, "Some Days" is filled with Dave Luv's impassioned effortless flow, evocative piano chords and an infectious hook. Slow-burned hip hop beats underlay pop-laden melodies for an enticing blend. The single is shared alongside a music video in which Dave Luv is an office worker with his face painted as a clown. He is desperately searching for happiness in his life, googling how to be happy, and reading self help books. His life becomes more miserable with a loss of job and eviction notice. With a twist of fate though, he chases a smily balloon and gets hit by a car, but ultimately finds happiness in the end. The video reinforces the song's theme of changing emotions.

Dave Luv is a Chicago based artist who first began releasing music in 2021. Known for his raw and candid rhymes and charisma, the talent has racked up millions of streams and cultivated a strong fanbase around the globe. Check out "Some Days" now and remember life is fleeting and emotions come and go.
