Manchester rock quartet Corella announces debut album Once Upon A Weekend with anthemic single “Drifting,” which delivers more of the explosive indie-rock sound they’ve been honing over the years.
With fresh blast of guitar-driven sonics and swaggering delivery, the track captures the completely carefree moments of youth, making memories that last you a lifetime and the aimless wander that sets in later in our lives.
The track is accompanied by uplifting yet contemplative visuals directed by Jay Brasier-Creagh that portrays the metaphor of drifting through life by channelling the nostalgia of our upbringing and childhood from an older man’s perspective. Fond and melancholic all at once, the track is free-spirited and tender all at once.
With this new offering setting up the anticipation for their upcoming project, Corella has also announced a UK headline tour alongside a plethora of festivals, giving us plenty to look forward to.
