Powerhouse producer duo Lake Hills x Frythm offer a taste of their new EP Across The Room with dynamic title track featuring Chinese-American singer-songwriter, producer, DJ, and musician Seyaa.
With a dark and ambient feel swirling around a genre-bending soundscape, the track blossoms with Seyaa’s delicate yet sultry vocal lines. A glimpse of emotion and experimentation that makes the core of the EP, the track is laid-back and alluring all at once as it unveils camaraderie and charm on each note.
Speaking of the record, Frythm says, “The record is a true culmination of both our sounds. Jake, coming from a techno and house background, really helped elevate the arrangement of these compositions. It’s a well rounded piece and gives room for play, contemplation, and high energy moments. I learned a lot from him throughout the process and am grateful for the music we created.”
Deftly transitioning from experimental house and techno to IDM and more, the collaborative duo have built a world of diverse genres and moods delivering a little bit of something for everyone who tunes in.
