The artist shares, “Bowie marks the transition between old and new gearing the audience up for the next era of Canned Pineapple, Bowie is a reflection upon the last time singer Sean Drury ever got his haircut in a barbershop. He had taken a strong dose of LSD and decided it was time to get his haircut. When the barber's blade touched Drurys head, the news came that David Bowie had passed to the other side, sending Sean into a deep dark despair.
Canned Pineapple's musical voyage, documented in their debut EP, has taken them across the UK and Ireland in a Nissan Micra. Acclaimed by huge tastemakers, and others, the band's live performances showcase their magnetic energy.
