Prolific emcee and singer-songwriter James Gardin and producer Charlie Beans team up to release "Top of the World", an uplifting and celebratory track that centers around seizing the day and living up to our God-given potential. Over the dreamy and solemn production courtesy of Beans, Gardin delivers the message with clarity and purpose as he peppers the track with lines like "And I never let a hater kill my mood/I am the king of this thing if you're still confused/You talking all that trash, your ego still gets bruised/You walking might tough you can't fill my shoes" and caps it with a melodic hook that uplifts the soul and implores listeners not to let the naysayers get in our way. He is joined by Lansing, MI emcee Sareem Poems who adds his thoughts as follows "The creator is the only one I'm looking up to/Thumbing through the pages of life, discovering beauty, hold it up to the mirror and reflect the new me" and closes it out with a much-needed morale booster for all of us.
