Camila Knight delivers a much needed positive message in new single “Gone Away”

Uprising eclectic singer-songwriter Camila Knight caught our ears sometime last year with her single "Satellites" taken from her forthcoming sophomore EP on the way she returns with the fourth single "Gone Away". The self-produced track is a nostalgia-inducing cinematic piece that focuses on finding light and positivity even in the darkest period in one's life. Over the thumping drum grooves, layered guitar riffs and solemn ethereal pads, Camila delivers an uplifting performance ripe with alluring vocal runs and inspirational lyrics like "Here in the dark/We'll find the light/Gonna wake up wiser/And nothing will stop me now". Camila also gave us the motivation behind the song as follows "I wrote this song and felt that it was special. The song came at a tough moment and I guess I was looking for a way to raise my spirits. Songwriting can be the most therapeutic and cathartic thing ever. And that’s what it is for me. A medicine for the soul and a troubled mind.”
