Berlin-based singer-songwriter Markus Nikolaus steps into the podium with his music brainchild Hartes Porzellan, a nonconforming live electronic band. With extensive experience as a touring artist and frontman for Berlin band Lea Porcelain, Markus brings something different with his latest effort "ALL IN YOUR HEAD", which blends dark electronic pop with Krautrock sensibilities. Backed by the band's layered production ripe with crunchy drums, electric guitar riffs and moody textures, Markus delivers a much-needed boost to our sanity as we push through the winter amidst all the madness going on. The rousing backdrop serves as the perfect metaphor for all the turbulence we are sailing through with Markus' emotion-fuelled vocals providing solace and hope as he reminds us that it's all in our head and the key is to keep it healthy and stay sharp at all times.
The accompanying video captures the band's live performance at Club Æden in Berlin. It has a DIY feel and even shows us the band's behind-the-scenes and sound-check sessions.
"ALL IN YOUR HEAD" is the first release from Hartes Porzellan, and they are following it with an EP to come in 2024.
