Award-winning soprano singer-songwriter Liza Jane shares her immersive and energetic new anthem “Man Or The Monster,” drawing us into the dark world of infidelity through an enticing sonic tunnel of captivating synths and danceable, club-driven drum beats.
Produced by Shayon Daniels and remixed by iconic dance music mastermind Stonebridge, the edgy and anthemic number vibrates with Gaga-esque frequencies led by her powerful vocals that unveil a journey from gaslit devastation toward self-reclamation, the track is vulnerable and empowering all at once.
Speaking of the track, she says: "It delves into the complexities of a betrayed love affair, portraying a partner living a double life akin to the duality of the iconic Batman villain, Two-Face. The enigmatic persona could manifest in either gender, as this characteristic transcends gender boundaries. People often ask me if this is a real story, and I'd suggest watching the video and you decide,” with remixer Stonebridge enthusiastically adding: “As much as I loved remixing Liza Jane’s new single 'Man Or The Monster,' I was equally excited to be working on 'Sacrifice' (the forthcoming 2024 single), giving it that special edge too!“
The bold production is accompanied by a suspenseful and seductive visual by Joseph Spence that unveils a moody and macabre feel that follows the tale of learning of her partner’s infidelity and being forced to witness as he conducts his perilous pursuits during her nightclub performance.
Powerful and memorable, it showcases the undeniable artistry that Jane has been honing through most of her life. From wanting to be a singer as a very young child to going on to earning a dedicated fan base worldwide with her unique style and grace, this rising starlet is a force to be reckoned with.
