Jorge drops genre bending new single "Ruckus"

Multi-talented rapper, singer and storyteller Jorge releases his latest single "Ruckus", a genre bending anthem spanning the worlds of hip-hop, indie-rock and even drum and bass.

The new single demonstrates Jorge's musical chameleon qualities who can tell tales of heartbreak to failures in the bustling chaos of London whilst transforming them into infectious melodies. "Ruckus" in particular builds with  drum and bass rhythms that transitions into hip-hop grooves before leading into mellow croons that encapsulates Jorge's versatility.

Jorge's musical journey initially began as a teenager with clashes and bedroom studios at the back of house parties until reaching adulthood and being lured by London's rat race, quick money, hustle and bustle pulled him into its NPC embrace. Now, armed with a mic and a stubborn spirit, he's taking the city's underground by storm.

Described as unfiltered emotions with a side of humour, Jorge shares how "Ruckus" came to life,“Ruckus came at the end of a pretty dark time where I felt myself getting stuck in my head quite a lot. I was conflicted with having very extroverted / flamboyant lyrics but also realising later that those same lyrics were not really representative of who I am, more who I thought I should be. So the songs I was writing at the time were just not fitting how I was feeling and Ruckus is the bi-product of a very emotion filled studio session. Getting it all out!”

Continuing to showcase himself as an artist who sits firmly in his own lane as one of the few who can blend a multitude of genres so effortlessly, Jorge's music is a cathartic release for him and his listeners with relatable and transparent stories that reminds us we aren't alone as we face the daily challenges thrown at us day by day. From his disaster-filled love life, trying to understand the world as it changes around him, and his daily showdown with life's little curveballs, Jorge keeps it real and now he reaps the rewards.
