North Carolina-based MC C.Shreve the Professor links up with Burlington, VT-based producer Es-K for his new single titled "Aorta" which dives into digging deep and looking within oneself for the answers. Backed by a solemn and somewhat trippy backdrop made up of subtle but wobbly textures , dark pads and punchy drum grooves, C.Shreve the Professor delivers a reflective and enlightening track ripe with well-crafted lyrics like "Hole in the ceilin like I’m standing in the Pantheon/Gods all around, I been diggin in the ambiance/Diggin for lessons, diggin for potential/Diggin for the breaks, diggin cuz it’s instrumental". Overall, the track implores us to keep digging and searching because you never know what you might find.
"Aorta" is taken from the duo's forthcoming full album. Shreve will be traveling to New England for a 7-date promotional tour in support of the LP.
