Beasts on Wax is a two-man experimental rap group made up of Rude McClanahan and Dopplebanger who emerged from the Atlas Mountains to restore the much-needed pulse in the game with their musical style.
The first track "Drop That Down" is a fusion of dark synths, distorted bass synths that pulsate against thick drum grooves with motivational lyrics that will fire you up to get to the gym and it's perfect to cruise around with. Armed with a laidback flow and edgy lyrics like "You know the raps on fleek/Hashtag baghdad big bomb beats/Ya got nothin on me/We Get it poppin, disruptin’ the peace", the duo set the stage with a much-needed amplification of our adrenaline.

The fun continues on the second track "Beasts In The Wild" and as the title suggests, it sees the duo embodying the spirit of the apex predators that roam the wilds. Bolstered by throbbing wobble basslines, and snapping half-step pattern drums, the emcee delivers a commanding performance ripe with graphic imagery of powering through one's goals with the ferocity of a wild beast. Lines like "I smell your blood and I'm comin’/All you can do is run from me/‘Can't fight, can't hide nothing/Teeth sink in to ya' substance" add that extra punch to ginger our spirits in whatever we do. It could be getting ready for the day, preparing to hit the gym or gearing up for tests, this song aims to boost our confidence levels up a notch.
