Clara Pople is an upcoming avant-pop artist who just put out her latest EP, "It's The Girl". This 4-song EP shows off her talent for making emotional soundscapes that mix different music types. Her unique voice is used as both an instrument and backup to create dark basslines, rhythmic beatboxing beats, and dreamy harmonies.
The EP takes inspiration from classical make a haunting but uplifting in each song explores with different emotions, but they're tied together by female empowerment themes. Clara graduated from the prestigious BIMM school in Manchester and says the songs show a mix of emotions from the challenges and victories of being a young adult.
The forth single "Balance" from the EP "It's The Girl" sadly reflects on life's overwhelming moments and has themes of grief and empowerment. It comes with a visually stunning music video made with students at Screenology Film School in Bristol showing the many strengths of women.
