Eclectic DIY rock band Sink In has just unleashed their ferocious new single "Cabin Fever". The song follows their 2023 release "Snow in LA" and last year's collaboration "Matando El Tiempo" with Say Ocean and AJ Perdomo.
With "Cabin Fever", Sink In writes an autobiographical narrative about being stuck inside while on tour in New Mexico due to the COVID lockdown. With no shows in sight and no way to leave, the band was trapped and the result was a bevy of unpleasant emotions. Many of us had these same feelings of isolation, restlessness and boredom and with "Cabin Fever", the trio unleashes those pent up emotions. Lyrics including, "And I don't feel it all / Been staring at the screen so long," show how the band was numbed out from being inside with their computer for months. Musically, "Cabin Fever" is a combustible and fiery fusion of intriguing sonics. Hardcore inspired thrashing guitar riffs underlay soaring glam pop rock vocals singing anthemic melodies for a must listen to record.
Sink In is the musical trio composed of members Tighe Eshleman (Vocals), Cobrette Bardole (Guitar), and Josh Lamczyk (Guitar). They first began releasing music in 2015 and since then has found success with million plus streams, selling out shows and charting #1 on the Heatseekers Northeast Billboard chart.
