In his latest EP DJ and producer Jimmy Pé demonstrates his unique creative direction, delivering an eclectic infusion of tech house, bass house, and mid-tempo.  The 'Blip Blop' EP is seamlessly mixed in with his distinctive, home-brewed style of production. This release signifies a new chapter in his artistic voyage with Slow Roast Records, underscoring a continuous evolution into a force in electronic music.

The music video for title track, “Blip Blop,” is one of the most cinematically striking works of Pé's creative catalogue. His distincy direction of photography, quick editing cuts, active camera angles, wardrobe, and CGI all harmonize to render an eye-popping escapade that naturally syncs with the adrenaline-fueled bass-house soundtrack. Jimmy Pé has a slew of cinematic creations such as “Tunnel Vision,” “Booty PoP,” and “Pé Is Not Dead.” The “Blip Blop” music video is one part of a bigger visual legacy he continues to leave in his wake.

Jimmy Pé doesn’t mind calling himself a broken-beat explorer. His cut-up electronica is slowly but successfully finding its way to a worldwide audience. Production-wise, this Slovak artist can jump into various music territories without failing to keep his own signature sound. This unique style’s main ingredients are broken rhythms spiced up by characteristic leaps between melancholy and euphoria.

Embodying his captivating sound design, Jimmy’s tunes have already managed to catch the attention of Alison Wonderland, A-Trak, The Gaslamp Killer, Flying Lotus, Baauer, Dj Craze, Tokimonsta, UZ, Ivy Lab, Daedelus, and many others. He has released music on labels such as Slow Roast Records, Quality Good Rec, and Saturate Rec.

Touring across India, China, and Europe, Jimmy has performed at Sziget festival, Outlook Festival, Low-End Theory, Liverpool Sound City, Ment Ljubljana, Pohoda Festival, and Colours of Ostrava. Just as impressive is his direct support for top-tier artists like Hudson Mohawke, Four Tet, Thundercat, A-Trak, RL Grime, not to mention his club residencies in Bratislava.
