Renassense emerges with her mind-altering track "Empathy'

Renassense is a San Francisco based artist, DJ, and producer who tackles broad strokes of human emotions within the scheme of melodic techno. Her latest single "Empathy" was inspired by the legacy of Carl Rogers, a pioneering figure in humanistic psychology. The powerful track speaks volumes to the interconnectedness of mankind, translating these beliefs into a rich and emotive musical experience.

"Empathy" unravels with a contrast of ethereal and pulsating electronics, vibrant flurries of strings, and ruminative percussion that transforms into a driving force. Featuring sampled dialogue from Rogers' famous 1974 lecture, "Empathy" is a moving tribute to his genius that struck a chord in the heart of humanity. Throughout the track, Rogers' abstract words grow in influence, repeating "Fear, or rage, or tenderness, or confusion / or whatever that he or she is experiencing." Over an otherworldly mix of interrelated sonics, "Empathy" will transport you to a realm of deep thoughts, sounds and colors.

Renassense's "Empathy" is the opening single from her new EP Human Experience. The project explores the experience of empathy, lust, creativity, music, and pain. "Each one moves me like a high tide, makes me feel alive, and helps me explore what it means to be a human and connect with others. I captured all of these feelings sonically to share those states of being with others through music," confides Renassense. Take a listen to "Empathy" for an enthralling chapter in Renassense's journey inwards.
