Danish-Faroese singer-songwriter, Brimheim is back with a new single titled "Brand New Woman" which sees her teaming with fellow singer/songwriter eee gee. Over the rich guitar arrangement, rousing drums and anthemic pads, both artists deliver an emotionally powerful performance ripe with enthralling melodies underpinned by insightful and empowering songwriting. Here the duo speaks unapologetically about breaking free from gender-restrictive roles placed on women by the larger society and the overarching need for external validation and approval from the patriarchal system. Done with the bending and twisting, Brimheim and eee gee have made up their minds to break the mould in order to chart their own path and let the inner beast prevail.

With that being said, "Brand New Woman" is that empowering record we all need to have on our playlist.

“Brand New Woman” is the second single off of the upcoming album RATKING. The album explores her shame, and frustration with prescriptive gender roles, and unmasks the parts of her that she’s spent a lifetime suppressing.
