Up-and-coming Luton-raised artist GADZ closes out the year with his second single "Cold World" which serves as the follow-up to his debut single “Fadeaway”. The track is as reflective as they come and see GADZ sharing his many life experiences in the hood. From the losses, and lack of opportunities to be surrounded by gloom and doom, the young rapper reminds us that as long as there is life, hope will always be there. Armed with his commanding gruff vocals, distinct melodies and knack for penning heartfelt and candid lyrics, GADZ delivers the perfect aspirational anthem for everyone trying to make it out of the hood. Lines like "Devil on my shoulders, Angel in my palm/My story's cold, tell me where you're on/Went from hand me down clothes, now it's loui vitton/Now I prostrate humble, never grips by the Shaytan" shows his struggles parallel with his comeuppance and his strong will to do what it takes to reach the apex.
GADZ grew up around music courtesy of his music teacher father who persuaded him to learn how to play different instruments. He then started rapping as a young teen, crafting his own songs and showing them to his mates who pushed him to be better. Since then he has performed at the O2 Academy in Islington twice, got nominated for Best Performance by RBE and took part in BL@CKBOCK’s U18s Cypher 2022 which also secured him numerous performances across Bedfordshire
