California-raised Cat Clark is a multi-talented artist who actually started off as a professional surfer with the Billabong and the USA Junior Surf Team. However, her love for music overwhelmed her love for the ocean and she is now following her musical aspirations. Currently based in the city of angels, Clark has carved a niche for herself with multiple placements on shows- and on her newest single "Brown Eyes", she delivers something refreshing to keep us warm as winter approaches.
Backed by a dreamy texture made up of lush pads, rich guitar riffs and head-nodding drum grooves, Cat's sultry melodic runs take precedence as they seamlessly float over the soundscape. Here, she muses on a seasonal love and basks in the good times they had and like they say, good things always come to an end, Cat realizes that it's time for her to keep moving. The track also showcases her rap persona Cat Gloss who drops some bars encapsulating the emotions that come with being lovelorn.
