Rising singer-songwriter Lauren-Paige teams up with rapper Dale May and producer/multi-instrumentalist little George for "Foolish". The track serves as her lead single taken from her forthcoming EP titled Woman. The track produced by little George is a mellow reflective piece that centers around the complications of love and being in love. The sublime textures and soft grooves set the tone for Lauren-Paige's sultry vocals and heartfelt lyrics like "I know just what you wanting from me/I am not sure if that is what I need/Maybe you take me out someday to a place preferably far away/I'm wishful thinking, you give me a time and place". Here, she ponders if they want to get to know her or if that feeling is fleeting and not even remotely mutual. Dale May joins the conversation with his laidback unassuming flow and plays the role of the significant other who shares his own thoughts on the matter.
"Foolish" is taken from Lauren Paige's forthcoming debut EP Woman, which is produced & mixed by George, is called Woman and explores themes like self-growth, acceptance, and how women are represented in today’s world. The EP will be released under Stereofox Records.
