Sadé Awele and Serengeti team up for “Muse Baby”

Nigerian-born, Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Sadé Awele is back with her new single "Muse Baby". The genre-bending love tune produced by Afro-Soul group Serengeti is brimming with rich funky guitar plucks, dancehall-esque drum grooves and R&B textures all underpinned by Sadé's soul-gripping vocal runs. Here, she details that singular moment when two soul mates meet and an undeniable connection is made both in the physical and spiritual sense. Lines like "Could this be really happening, 'cause all I want is more/I feel it in my body and I feel it in my soul/Could this be the beginning of all we ever want" sees her experiencing that emotional euphoria that comes from true love and she yearns for more.

"Muse Baby" follows Sadé Awele’s Time Love Journey EP and subsequent singles including “Intuition”. Previous releases have seen Sadé Awele gain support from Exclaim!, Honk and Vancouver Magazine; be awarded Female Artist of the Year by the African Fashion and Arts Movement (AFAM); and led to her being one of the select few to participate in the Women in the Studio Accelerator Program (Music Publishers Canada).
