The track is a mid-tempo effective cut that deals with the concept of public pretence even when one is dying inside. Joy tackles the topic with the utmost candour as she sings "Trying so hard to stay centered, Bring to stay zen when/ All the world things come Crashing down" and she further asserts herself with the statement "I know sometimes things don’t ever work out, Why should we lie/ And say that we got/ All our shit together" which summed it all up perfectly.
