Budding Bean Town producer B Leafs follows up his 2022 project The Synopsis, with his new single "Jurassic" which sees him teaming up with LA legend The Game, Connecticut rhyme staple Marvalyss and buzzing Baltimore wordsmith Jay Royale. Just as the title suggests, the track lives up to expectations as B Leafs crafts the most menacing beat we have heard this week with its cinematic pads, moody textures and downtempo punchy boom-bap drums underpinned by The Game's assertive hook while Marvalyss and Jay royale handle the verses with much gusto. Here, they take us deep into the grimy gutters where any wrong move could be fatal and the pictures they paint with lines like "I thank Jesus for the Pyrex and how to move your own product direct/And get it off the muscle like a bicep/Its cold nights off the street lamps/we in the projects where, either you die or you digress" is quite morbid.
