Prague-based musician NOANNE has just unveiled her stunning single “Goodwill” packing a punch with her debut release. The new track and accompanying music video showcases the artists love of theater, film, music and Artificial Intelligence, combining them all to create something that is truly unique and totally immersive.
“Goodwill” may seem like a love story from the beginning, but with a few twists and turns, NOANNE takes you to a place that will have you questioning everything. Her theatrics are not only in the music video, but also in her storytelling lyrics and intriguing instrumentation, in which “Goodwill” weaves in Chinese mandolin sounds. Speaking of the song's unexpected intricacies, NOANNE shares, “The lyrics of my song hint at this, expressing a sentiment along the lines of, "Would you notice something that I did for you?" This rhetorical question implies that you likely didn't notice, despite the grandness of the gesture. If you fail to see my white shadows on your black wall, then you are truly oblivious. The lyrics go on to contrast this with minor details that I've noticed, such as your last glance at me.”
The music video is a work of art, filmed over 50 hours with more than 15 crew members. From the narrative, to the locations, costumes and makeup, it is a remarkable debut release for NOANNE and leaves us wondering what else she has next that could possibly top this?
