Rising alt/indie talent Black Polish have announced their forthcoming debut album Forest (Monsters Live In The Trees), with visuals for latest single “Graves.”
With eerie yet anthemic sonics that builds slowly led by bold vocal lines, the accompanying visuals channel the iconic visual for Paramore's "Decode," complimenting an angsty performance with dark backdrops of a forest clearing and graveyard at dusk.
Rich yet expansive, the atmospheric track offers up a glimpse of the inspiration behind the album, which was created amidst the pandemic tapping into an isolating state of mind that you can’t help but loop back within.
A relatable perspective of everyone’s pandemic days, musician Jayden Nicole Binnix polishes an ethereal musicality influenced by a diverse range of artists including Fleetwood Mac, Mitski, Lord Huron, Lorde, and Twenty One Pilots, as they whip up unique interpretations of the world marked by powerful assertion and heightened sensitivity.
