Nashville artist Julia Kahn has dropped off a new single, titled "Magic", alongside a fresh music video. “Magic” is Kahn’s first track off the heels of an international festival tour in the UK, and her debut EP release Heroine's Journey. As a fully independent artist, Kahn has been cementing her status as an international artist by embarking on a 30+ station international radio tour supporting her debut EP, and playing various US and UK festival slots. She is gearing up for a new project, with the ephemeral, sharply-crafted “Magic” being the first single off of it.  Known for her potent lyricism, genre-bending production and stirring vocals, Kahn is a refreshing singer, songwriter and producer creating sonic worlds centred around empowerment, inner-transformation, and finding the light within. And that’s just what the Nashville songstress has done once again with new record, “Magic", accompanied by a vibrant new video directed by Talia Stewart.

"Magic" conjures an ethereal soundscape with atmospheric keys, angelic backing vocals, and rich bass. Backed by an electrifying DnB-influenced drum line, Kahn delivers silky smooth, emotive vocals as she details a longing for freedom and engagement with the mysterious. Culminating in a powerful hook, "Magic" is a dynamic song with vivid undertones that serves a poignant message about making the most of life and embracing its unknowns.

The music video for "Magic" reflects the free-spirited energy of the track with exuberant shots and saturated coloration. Featuring a fun-loving performance from Kahn as well as expressive choreography, "Magic"'s visual is lively and engaging from the get-go.

When asked about her new single, Kahn said, "“Magic” is a rebellious and bold electro-pop track about chasing the magic in life and never settling for “normal.” It’s an anthemic song about embracing your uniqueness, and never losing that child-like sense of wonder and magic that makes life so beautiful. In a world where most of us are stressed out, or afraid to pursue what truly sets our soul on fire, Magic serves as an anthem to finding inner-freedom and surrounding ourselves with those who bring out the magic in us.”

“Magic” serves as a reminder to all of us to never lose that youthful exuberance, expressed with its shimmering, energetic soundscape and spiritual flare.
