Pawz One gives us something to ponder on in "Algorithm & Blues (Maybe)"

Prolific LA-based rapper Pawz One is currently working with producer Water The Plants for a forthcoming EP entitled Tell Em I Was Here but in the meantime, he shares the lead single "Algorithm & Blues (Maybe)". The song sets the tone for what is to come from the duo with its insightful and thought-provoking lyrics that dwell on the possibility of humans being a simulation and we are all none the wiser. The production has a sombre and reflective aesthetic comprised of solemn guitars and pads with soft grooves that blend with Pawz One's vivid lyricism and life-questioning rhymes like "It's all a simulation in fact, you've seen the Matrix right? Well this is basically that". He takes it a step further with statements like "It's a movie, camera, action it's gone/You don't really know these things until they are actually gone/We soul searching, we just looking for truth like/or maybe we just stuck in a loop like" where he admits that we still do not know the full story of this thing called life.

Tell Em I Was Here is set for an October 13th release on all digital stores and a special edition vinyl. The vinyl includes an extra track featuring Masta Ace & DJ Rhettmatic and comes in a marbled yellow and purple colour.
