M-Dot and Kore (of EMS) are looking for a "Break" [Video]

Still riding high off his latest album Ego and the Enemy 2: A Dissolute Paradise, veteran Boston rapper M-Dot shares the visuals for his song "Break" featuring fellow EMS member Kore. The track produced by Polish beat-smith Gajos has a moody and urgent feel with its rich cinematic textures and thumping drums and guitar licks and it's underpinned by M-Dot and Kore's heartfelt lines that dwell on pain and coming to terms with addiction in every sense of the word.

The track and accompanying visual immediately showcases the vulnerability of M-Dot and his introspective admission of addiction. The relatable content of being lost in a substance surely resonates with many going through similar struggles and both emcees give vivid examples that will touch the soul. The gloomy black-and-white visual was shot by Phillip Ledenyi in Munich, Germany and follows the pair through the ups and downs of dealing with their inner demons while trying to drown it out in a sea of liquor.

The single can be found on "Ego and the Enemy 2: A Dissolute Paradise" out now on all platforms and on collector's edition splash colored vinyl.
