Veteran Bristol, UK emcee K*Ners's latest effort "They Don't Know" sees him getting busy over the classic "Outta Control" instrumental from 50 Cent and Mobb Deep. Over the pounding crisp drums, rich synths and iconic piano riff, K*Ners proceeds to weed out the competition with an effortless blow to the gut. He cuts through his foes with his gruff vocals and reminds us of why he is an OG with lines like "I held the whole of the local scene/Made them touch what exactly they have never seen/Time is counting remix, for instance, they used me/So I kept my distance" and caps it off with some playful spirited bars to close the deal.
He also comes through with the official video that makes use of performance shots, subtle visual effects and clips of the man chilling and enjoying life as he should be.
K*Ners started out as a ragga MC on a sound system many years ago, and he later switched his style to encompass hip-hop. Inspired by the success of Bristol heroes such as Wild Bunch, Massive Attack, and Portishead, he is creating his own lane with his style of evocative and relatable hip-hop music.
