Skateland shares enthralling new single "POSTCARDS"

Austin based Skateland has just dropped his latest bedroom pop single. Called "POSTCARDS!", the song follows his debut EP New Wave Revival.

With "POSTCARDS", Skateland writes a relatable anthem about toxic comparison. The constant amount of time many of us spend on the internet and social media can at times make us feel bad about ourselves when we look at what others are achieving or experiencing and Skateland brilliantly narrates just that in his latest single. Lyrics including, "Living in your real life / isn't all that bad / never gunna know when you're staring at your phone like that," show just how grass is always greener in many of our minds. The song musically is an atmospheric and dreamy cinematic soundtrack filled with colliding synths, whimsical beats and hushed vocals.

Skateland creates expansive and decadent sonic explosions from his bedroom. The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer just began sharing music last year and has already performed at SXSW and garnered a dedicated fanbase. Take a listen to "POSTCARDS!" now and try not to compare your own life when you can.
