Seattle born and Northern California raised singer/songwriter LXI has just unleashed a special acoustic rendition of her single "Ghost of Me". The track is a collaboration with Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Tayla Parx and award-winning producer/musician, Ilya Toshinskiy.
With "Ghost of Me (Acoustic)" LXI pens a song all about love, loss and unrequited lust. Lyrics including, "big smiles and feeling empty / is love alive is it dead / you think you found me / but its just the ghost of me," shows the empty feelings of not being connected to the one who desires you. Sonically, "Ghost of Me (Acoustic)" is a moody lullabye complete with melancholy rich acoustic guitars underneath warmly smooth vocals and a delicate falsetto. Dreamy melodies and slow-burned sonic backdrops make the song a magnetic listen.
LXI is the musical project of singer/songwriter Alexi Callinicos. The artist is acclaimed for her music and for being the youngest member ever to be accepted into Mensa in the state of California. Influenced by the likes of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, LXI creates her own poignant and heartfelt story rich songs. Take a listen to "Ghost of Me (Acoustic)" now and share it with your family and friends.
