Exsonvaldes captures a chaotic vision of today’s world on "Party People"

French trio Exsonvaldes captures a chaotic vision of today’s world on “Party People,” taken from their upcoming album Maps.Offering up a potent mix of irony and anxiety within swirling indie pop harmonies, the track is all about trying to be noticed yet not fitting in anywhere.

Drawing from their revulsion against pollution they’ve always portrayed in their 25-year music journey, the track and album present the ferocity of their eco-anxiety as an older, wiser trio.

Speaking of the track, they say, “Party People is not really party music, this time it's about a parasite who crashes your party, drinks all your wine, does anything you want and tells you: "You'll remember me!”’

Returning after a five-year hiatus, the rockers who met during their engineering studies in Paris are all set to offer a self-referential album which sources from every decade of pop since the seventies is set to remind us of the astute artistry that sets them apart.
