US musician Adam Lytle shares the music video for mind-bending single “Highway Nightmare,” taken from his upcoming 10-track album This is the Fire.
An introspective track that delves into the spiralling nature of time, and weaves through a narrative of allowing ourselves to be carried on a compelling and thrilling journey of life, Lytle combines dramatic instrumentals and reflective song writing.
The track is bolstered by the cinematic visuals carefully designed to take viewers on a psychological journey down the backroads of the mind, framed by touches of the fear that often clouds our memory and vision.
Made in collaboration with cinematographer Douglas K Horton and Creative Director Drake Miller, the video was shot over the course of one night in Upstate New York, capturing the moody and poignant feel of the track.
With the track being a vivid glimpse of the album set to explores themes of death, religion, love and violence, Lytle intricate soundscapes make for an immersive listening experience.
