Matroda makes a triumphant return with his EP Jack The House 4" featuring a collection of six tracks that delve into a more club-focused soundscape, within the realm of tech house. Unsurprisingly, the Croatian-raised producer/DJ, does nearly 100 annual live performances and amassed millions of streams. This time, he delves into deeper sonic territories, exploring soulful and vibrant chords, house-infused vocals, and seismic basslines.
The EP opens with "My Mind", a showcase of Matroda's hard-hitting and technical grooves. The fusion of classic house vocals and growling basslines boldly marks the opening of the EP. Following suit, "Can't Fight The Feeling", flows with smooth sophistication, its heart pulsating with piano chords that seamlessly intertwine with thick, wub-filled basslines, all harmonising with soulful vocals.
"Pump Up The Volume" serves as a dynamic crescendo, its assertive soundscapes and vibrant piano chords building toward drops that reverberate with energy. The project finishes with "Talk To Me", a collaborative effort with TOBEHONEST, seamlessly merging the finest elements of both artists' styles.
