LA-based, Indiana-born rap artist Conrad Jon gets into the fun mode with his new effort titled "08 Lebron", which is lifted from his latest album Fully Frosted. The song produced by Chef Tuna has a laidback and solemn vibe with its dreamy synths, warm pads, and downtempo drum grooves underpinned by Conrad's stylish flows. He employs a handful of cadences ranging from extremely attuned lines, lazy rapping, and a completely unassuming demeanour to match. As the title suggests, we see him embodying the never-say-die spirit of a Young LeBron but maybe with a carefree and fun attitude as well.
The video directed by Makan Torkian and Kiarash Naderi makes use of a mix of DIY and cinematic aesthetics that follows Conrad in different spots and ultimately ends up at a cozy get-together at an unknown spot. Conrad is also spotted rocking the classic Cavaliers basketball jersey as he pays homage to Lebron James.
