Southern California based singer/songwriter, mental health advocate and bisexual social media influencer Lucy & La Mer has just shared her latest single. Called "Ice Cream", the song is the first of the year from this prolific songwriter.

With "Ice Cream", Lucy writes a single all about falling in love and the myriad of feelings that come along with that. From excitement to joy, finding connection and infatuation can also lead to anxiety, overthinking and insecurities. Lyrics including, "sometimes I melt down like ice cream/ will you still like me / when it gets all messy," show that Lucy is asking her love interest if they can take her for her good and bad. Musically, the endearing song is a ukulele driven tune filled with sugary sweet melodies and pop vocals over folky soundscapes. "Ice Cream" is a breezy song and a must listen to mental health anthem. The sweet and fun fun loving music video shows melting colorful ice cream along with lyrics for watchers to sing-a-long.

Lucy & La Mer began her musical journey a decade ago with the release of her first single "Just Friends". Since then, the artist has made her mark as a relatable and important voice in music, garnering a dedicated fanbase from around the world. Take a listen to "Ice Cream" now and tell your love you care about them.
