South London's nu-soul-come-indie quartet Lautier continues to shine with their latest single, "It's Not The Same," solidifying their status as one of London's most exciting live acts. Drawing inspiration from '60s Brazilian tropicalia to contemporary grooves, such as Parcels and Haim, Lautier's genre-defying approach pushes creative boundaries.

"It's Not The Same" beautifully marries soulful melancholy with vibrant indie elements. The track's jazz-infused chord structures blend seamlessly with bright guitar tones, a dynamic bass line, subtle synth layers, and swaying drums. The result captures both the energy of their influences and a shimmering indie charm. Fronted by emotive lead vocals and harmonies, the song boasts an infectious melodic hook that complements its relatable lyrics, exploring the complexities of comparing past and present loves.

Already gaining attention from Radio X and BBC Introducing, Lautier's electrifying live shows have solidified their buzz across London. Collaborating with esteemed producers Scott Knapper and Tim Bazell, the band's sound defies categorization, showcasing their genre-bending approach. With "It's Not The Same," Lautier showcases their dedication to pushing musical boundaries while delivering an unforgettable sonic experience.
