Mumbai artist Arrows shares joyful, indie summer anthem “Carnaby”

Hailing from Mumbai and quickly becoming one of our favourite new artists from across the globe, Arrows collaborates with pop/punk band, The Lightyears Explode’s – Saurabh Roy and Bombay Brass for his latest single, “Carnaby”. Channeling nostalgia, this track draws inspiration from the iconic London institution Carnaby Street, a symbol of the swinging '60s, to paint an image through heartfelt lyrics and pop-rock filled emotive melodies. Arrows, the brainchild of musician, songwriter and music journalist, David Britto, creates a single that would certainly be a gripping experience performed live, involving a hooky guitar and horn section, that build up tension throughout.

Having just released “Fight This Fight”, the lead single off his much-anticipated five-track debut EP, Friends Tonight, Strangers Again, this track marks as the second single.

Sharing more about this release, David Britto says, “‘Carnaby’ is one of the older songs I’ve written and I’m glad that it is finally seeing the light of day. The song itself talks about living in a different, somewhat simpler time. It includes the musical talents of Saurabh Roy and Bombay Brass, artists who are poles apart sonically yet help bring this song to life so brilliantly.”
