London-based band Baba Ganoush drop lush debut single “Swimming,” offering up an enchanting soundscape built on infectious drum grooves, intimate bass, rich keys and guitar riffs all brought together by honeyed but strong vocals.
Stitching multiple genres such as jazz, rock and psychedelia together for a seamless sonic experience, the track balances a layered instrumentation with honest lyricism that strike a chord with anyone listening.
Speaking of the track, the band shares, “We have been playing music together for years but have been intentionally waiting for the right song before doing our first release. We wrote ‘Swimming’ in an hour, and knew straight away it would be our debut single. We wanted to record and release this song entirely ourselves, to celebrate and channel the joy we experience when playing music together, for each other.”
