German songwriter and producer NNADI, has taken a smooth turn with his latest release, "Crying In Heaven". This emotionally charged song showcases a sweet acoustic guitar loop, complemented by the talented all-rounder's heartwarming vocals that exude a soulful yearning. The single comes with an aesthetic VHS style music video, set on a sunny beach where NNADI sits beside the crashing waves. The video perfectly matches the uplifting atmosphere of the track, supported by upbeat percussion.
Drawing inspiration from renowned artists like James Blake, Nick Hakim, and Bakar, NNADI skillfully merges his passion for hip hop and alt-R&B, resulting in a unique and refreshing sound of his own. He explains more about the process – ‘“Crying in Heaven’ is one of my most heartfelt songs,” explains NNADI on the release. “Being in a situation where you try to love a person but it just won't fit because it's just not clicking is one of the worst feelings someone could get. With this song I tried to capture that feeling and tell a story which can be relatable to anyone. Lyrically, I tried to step out of my comfort zone by creating pictures instead of just describing a scenario.”
