Portland based soulful singer/songwriter Salvatore Manalo has just released his latest single. Called "Honest", the track follows his track "Fading" shared earlier this year.
With "Honest", Salvatore Manalo wrote a song in dedication to his spouse on their 10 year anniversary. The authentic and candid narrative discusses his decision to first commit at the start of the romance. This decision can bring about complex emotions including excitement, doubt, anxiety and anticipation and the songwriter so brilliantly captures these distinctive feelings. Musically, "Honest" is a soul-baring musical moment filled with R&B laced vocals, lush acoustic guitars and groovy basslines. Elements of pop, funk, R&B, soul and even folk are effortlessly blended together for a memorable and seductive single.
