Rising Latine sensation Quelle Rox is back with a new colorful video for her latest single "vomittt" that blurs the lines of what's real and what's a part of the simulation. With tracks laced with a teenage daydream and a dreamy sound to soundtrack the escapades of a 20-something in New York, Rox is creating music that translates her colorful personality into bedroom bangers. "vomitttt" is the singer's second track of 2023 and yet, is a takeaway in a different, more sonically focused direction.

"vomitttt" takes inspiration from the garage house influence all around her in Brooklyn, trading in slow ethereal guitar loops for kick samples but still keeping the same dreamy tone in the chorus. The instrumental backing is fast-paced but still keeps the listener present, swapping in different synth progressions to keep from getting stale.

Though it's a more energetic form of production, Rox's vocals still keep up, resulting in a track that's infectious and moody. The video is a perfect accompaniment.

Blending the realms of the physical and the digital, Rox takes the Y2K aesthetic that's vibrant within younger Latine circles and pushes it to the forefront, lacing the video with a strong and personable video that looks like it was directed straight out of a 2004 Toshiba computer.
